"Exploring America thru Art
& Music" is a program which cleverly intertwines
music with scenes across our beautiful American landscape.
Classical along with American composers' music moves us
through this exciting thirty-five minute performance. Madame
Von Ooffenheimer, a "famous" opera singer, stages
her appearance right before Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture
and climaxing with dramatic lighting effects. |

This show illustrates images from our Country's history as
it introduces students to the concept of symbolism through art and music. Against a background,
of an American flag, snapshots of the U.S. Constitution, the Flag-raising at Iwo Jima, the Capitol with
an American Eagle, and Abraham Lincoln emerge as Artist/Educator Cliff Beaman brings them to life
in chalk. Students are left with an appreciation for the bravery of men and women who fought to
preserve our freedoms.
